ROLE OVERVIEW:
They are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial and Domestic Plumbing / Heating Engineer to join our maintenance team.
95% of the buildings we maintain are commercial. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Day-to-Day Plumbing Maintenance: Fixing Taps, TMV’s, showers, ball valves, Gate valves,
stop cocks
  • Heating and Hot water Maintenance: checking 2 ports, 3 ports, mixing valves heating and HWS pumps CWS Tanks, HW cylinders, TMV’s, TRV’s, radiators.
  • Shower Maintenance: Maintaining and Replacing shower valves.
  • Heating and Hot water Pipework: installing /replacing new pipework up to 54mm, fixing leaks, and draining down and refilling complete systems Heating Hot and cold.
  • Commercial Heating /HW System Work: Installing new heating pumps, 2 ports, 3 ports, mixing valves magna filters, pressurisation units, water softeners, CWST, HW Cylinders
  • Team Collaboration: Working effectively within a team environment.
  • Communication: Demonstrating excellent communication skills.
QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS:
 
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • NVQ Level 2-3 in Plumbing and Heating.
  • Must have your own hand tools of a good quality.
  • Ideally, resides local to Hemel Hempstead.
  • Advantage: Hold HWSS G3 qualification to work on unvented and vented cylinders.
REMUNERATION/PACKAGE:
 
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Out of Hours: Call out.
  • Competitive Salary: competitive salary package – £38,000 + bonus = £48,000 OTE
  • Company Pension: Inclusion in the company pension scheme.
  • Company Package: Includes a company phone, van, and petrol card.
  • Employee Assistant Programme: Available to all employees and family members.
  • Annual Leave: 24 days of annual leave (exclusive of bank holidays), increasing by 1 extra day for each year of service after 3 years, up to a maximum of 27 days.
